Sticklepath's famous Fireshow - and preparations are already well underway to celebrate Bonfire Night with the biggest and brightest blast the Dartmoor village has ever seen. Every year, the annual extravaganza's stages, costumes and pyrotechnics aim to outdo former showsAs always, the theme of the show will remain a closely-guarded secret until the lights go up on November 5th.

5 November - Tar Barrels
Every year on November 5th for reasons lost in antiquity, the Flaming Tar Barrels are carried through the streets of Ottery St mary to the delight of thousands of townsfolk and visitors. Starting with the junior barrels in late afternoon the size of the adult barrels grow until the final enormous one is carried as Midnight calls. A gigantic bonfire over 30 feet (10 metres) high and crowned with Guy Fawkes himself, forms an impressive background to the occasion together with a fairground and many other attractions. Loads of food concessions (The scouts always do a good cup of tea and burger!) and a brilliant disco for those looking to make anight of it!. Ottery St Mary. This year local Gemini FM radio presenters have teamed up with Stagecoach and Exeter Round Table to bring you a fabulous evening of music, fun and fireworks, to include: Roadshow, Light and Dancing Flame Display, Fun Fair, Refreshments, Grecian the Lion Licensed Bar, Sideshows, Bonfire Fireworks.Westpoint.

Exmouth Round Table
Exmouth will be lighting up the sky with a fantastic fireworks display.Uffculme Gigantic Firework Display
Uffculme PTFA annual fire work display. "Possibly the best display in the west" Fair ground and catering. This is a very popular event and early arrival is recommended. Display by Angel Fire. Brilliant family event, and absolutely breathtaking firework display. Well worth a look.Parking at the secondary school and at Maunders Feed Mill.

Brampford Speke bonfire and fireworks
A friendly village event to raise money for a local charity. A large Bonfire will be lit followed by a firework display. Clyst Hydon School Association Firework Display
Firework Display & Bonfire. Hog Roast, hot food, mulled wine and hot drinks. A great family night out!Parking available in the field.

Montgomery Firework Display
Professional display run every year by Angelfire Pyrotechnics. Enjoy a burger, hot dog or jacket potato from the barbeque. Hot and cold drinks also available. All proceeds benefit the pupils of the school so come along and enjoy this great event. Sadly, we cannot allow sparklers on site, but glow toys will be available at very reasonable prices.
