Always the perfect excuse to go wild in the country, Beautiful Days returns this summer with another great line-up.

Friday's headliner Newton Faulkner will be bringing on the sunshine vibes with his feel-good folk pop. Reggae legends The Wailers will also be summoning the spirit of Bob Marley.

The tempo gets ramped up a gear on Saturday with headliners James bringing their Manchester brand of indie rock to Escot Park. Expect hits like She's a Star and Sit Down to get everyone's hands in the air.

Festival founders Levellers will do the honours on Sunday night with their unique brew of folk/rock/punk/anarchy.

The Big Top will host performances from singer-songwriter Billy Bragg, Fairport Acoustic Convention, and acclaimed English folk band Bellowhead.

The three-day event celebrates music of all tempos and persuasions, including performances from reggae collective Easy Star All-Stars, award-winning folkies Show of Hands, The Alarm, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, John Cooper Clarke, and 3 Daft Monkeys.

Apart from all that, it's a chance to camp out with your friends for a few days, over-indulge in food and booze, and dress up in something silly. What's not to love?
